The Course was designed by Charles H Alison in 1949 and was constructed by Koos de Beer over the next two years before opening in 1951.

It is a beautiful course with many water features coming into play on 11 of the holes. The Bryanston Country Club presents an exciting challenge where birdies are at a premium and hitting the fairways and the greens is an art to be mastered.
